Yael Stein Yael Stein, who is Australian living in New York City since 2013 was the character Lorna Morrello on Orange Is the New Black. Yael completed her studies at NIDA. Yael was fortunate to work with the best storytellers in Australia. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work in film, television and the theatre. Yael has a successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's move to New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. In the Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new imaginative writing and promote innovative thinking.
